JACK AND THE BEANSTALK PANTOMIME
William Young
This July holiday, join Jack and his hilarious companions on a magical romp up the famous fairy tale beanstalk and beyond, on an adventure that includes toe-tapping songs, jokes, slapstick, romance, fantastic sets and fantasy costumes! A must-see holiday treat for all ages.

Presented by the multi-award winning KickstArt Theatre Company, Jack and the Beanstalk is written and directed by Steven Stead (My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music) and designed by two times Fleur du Cap winner Greg King, who has just created the stunning sets for My Fair Lady.

The show stars our dashing William Young as the hero, Jack, with Roshanda Lewis as his love-interest, Princess Jill. Blessing Xaba, known to South African and international audiences for his role as Fatty in the Spud movies, steps into the Dame’s high heels to play Jack’s long-suffering mother, Flora Flatbroke. Brent Palmer and Bryan Hiles play the hilariously inept robbers, Cecil and Claude, Liesl Coppin is the wicked Lady Beastly, Lyle Buxton plays The Giant, and Samantha Landers is the good fairy, Glissanda Goldenvox.

Performances are scheduled from 3-27 July at The Baxter Theatre. Booking at Webtickets
