Our actress, Devonecia Swartz, was chosen to be on the latest SARIE cover for the November/December issue, featuring sixteen of South Africa’s most well-known stars.

The latest edition of the SARIE was released on 1 November 2024 and can be found on shelves nationwide.

This issue is part of the festive collaboration with kykNET, who is celebrating their quarter of a century on air in the same year that SARIE-magazine is celebrating three quarters of a century in press.

This special edition SARIE-magazine appears with four different covers, with each cover presenting four of the sixteen celebrities that each present kykNET and SARIE in their personalized ways. 

According to Michélle van Breda, editor of SARIE magazine, it required considerable effort from both SARIE and kykNET to make four covers happen.

In the past they have often had more than one cover on the shelf at the same time, but never with so many celebrities.

The sixteen chosen faces, that made the birthday celebrations unforgettable include the likes of Hans Strydom, Nadia Valvekens, De Klerk Oelofse, Emo Addams, Amalia Uys, Bennie Fourie, Leah, Hannes van Wyk, Donnalee Roberts, Dean John Smith, Lourensa Eckard, Denise Newman, Susanne Beyers, Reynardt Hugo, Simoné Pretorius and our very own Devonecia Swartz.

There are four different versions of the cover for this edition but the content remains the same.

This November/December magazine is also SARIE’s Christmas issue.
