Cole WesselsMince Jou Hare, is a feel-good small-town sitcom written and co-produced by the South African, media personality, Shimmy Isaacs.
The story is inspired and set in the backdrop of Worcester, in the Western Cape, and based on a story about Isaacs’ mom, a hairdresser, and her pursuit of her own destiny.
Mince Jou Hare follows the story of Frieda, her family, and friends on a journey of self-discovery.
Frieda, and her best friend, Julia decide to quit their factory jobs to set up a hair salon in Frieda’s home, disrupting the lives of her family, neighbours, and clients in the process.
Melissa de Vries stars as Frieda with comedian Dugald Pieterse as her husband Vincent. Bianca Flanders as her best friend Julia and Franka Kirby in a breakthrough role as her daughter Jody.
Our very own Cole Wessels can be seen playing the role of Jared, the son of Frieda’s customer, Suzette who attends school with Jody.
Mince Jou hare is a feel-good story with bumps in the road and laughter all the way through.
